is not an AWD vehicle. It uses front-wheel drive (FWD), not all-wheel drive (AWD). While AWD for the Soul ! isn’t an option, it has other specs working in its favor. As the highest trim level, the Exclaim trim brings to the Soul a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine capable of producing 201 horsepower, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
All in all, it’s a pretty powerful car that will bring you a lot of fun—which is why it earned an 8/10 from Car and Driver in 2018.
