Is the Hyundai 5-year warranty transferable?
I’m thinking about selling my 2021 Hyundai Elantra to upgrade to a newer model. To get more money, I’m going to sell it privately rather than trade it in—however, I want to increase the value of my car by making sure that the warranty is transferable. Can I transfer the 5-year warranty to the next buyer?

However, the powertrain warranty is a bit different. If you sell your car, the warranty drops from 10 years and 100,000 miles down to 5 years and 60,000 miles. Since you have a newer-model car, this may hurt your resale value. As a result, use sites like Kelley Blue Book or Edmunds to determine a fair value for your car.
