Unfortunately, the
Honda Civic Si
does not come with all-wheel drive (AWD)—it’s front-wheel drive (FWD) for the Civic across all variations for 2022.However, that doesn’t mean your dear old dad has it right when it comes to finding a sporty and compact ride with all-wheel drive. Here are two options that might fit the bill for you:
- The shiftyMazda 3, comes with the option of adding all-wheel drive for an extra $1,400 on most trim levels. That means you’ll have AWD capability along with a spritely 2.5-liter 4 cylinder engine, with 186 horsepower and a ton of razzle-dazzle to make even the most boring commutes lively.
- The 2023Subaru Legacyis a compact and nimble sedan that comes standard with all-wheel drive. Watch your father’s eyes bulge as you wax poetic about your new ride’s all-weather ability, not to mention its boatload of standard driver-assist technology features. Even if it doesn’t offer the sportiness of the Civic Si, it’s still a capable sedan that can tackle most weather scenarios.
