Is the Genesis warranty transferable?
I’m looking to sell my Genesis, but it’s still under warranty. Will the buyer get the warranty, too, or does selling the vehicle void it?

Every new Genesis comes with the following warranties:
- Genesis New Vehicle Limited Warranty
- Genesis Powertrain Limited Warranty
- Genesis Anti-Perforation Limited Warranty
- Federal Emission Control Warranty
- California Emission Control Warranty (for vehicles sold in California)
- Replacement Parts and Accessories Limited Warranty
If you decide to sell your Genesis during the warranty period, most of these warranties can be transferred to the new owner for the remainder of the warranty period. The only exception is the powertrain warranty, which applies only to the original owner and is not transferable to subsequent owners.
