Great question! The 2016 Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid is not fully electric, it’s actually a hybrid car.
It’s technically not even a full-hybrid design. The Subaru Crosstrek isn’t actually capable of running on purely
electric
power. With its mild hybrid unit, it can only travel short distances at low speeds. The actual function of the electric motor is to provide extra torque to the CVT transmission when needed. Here are some notable features:
