Is rhodium used in electric cars?

The catalytic converter was recently stolen from my friend’s car, and it was a huge hassle to replace it. Is rhodium, the expensive mineral used in catalytic converters, used in electric cars?

It’s true that catalytic converter theft is on the rise due to the previous minerals they contain, one of which is rhodium.

however are not at risk for catalytic converter theft because they do not have a catalytic converter.
