Is Ram owned by Dodge?

I used to have a Dodge Ram back in the day. But I know that after the Great Recession in 2008, Dodge did some rebranding. Does Dodge still own Ram?

In 2009,
the Dodge Ram
was officially discontinued—but in name alone. Ram isn’t owned by Dodge but rather became its own brand under the RAM name.
In 2014, Fiat purchased Chrysler/Dodge but continued the RAM brand name with good reason. RAM trucks remain the second best-selling trucks in the U.S., trailing only the Ford F-150 in total sales. Plus, Fiat didn’t mess with a winner. The RAM still features a HEMI engine, a well-appointed interior, and the versatility that only RAM can bring.
