Is parallel parking on the driving test in Florida?

I’m horrible at parallel parking. I get so nervous and I’ve only done it right once in my life! Does the Florida driving skills test require parallel parking?

No, the Florida driving test doesn’t include parallel parking.
In fact, if you check the Official Florida Driver’s Handbook, you’ll see the driving skills test only includes:
  • A three-point turn
  • Approaching a crossing
  • Observing right-of-way
  • Straight-in parking
  • Parking on a grade
  • Stopping quickly
  • Backing up
  • Obeying stop signs and traffic signals
  • Signaling and turning
  • Passing
  • Staying in your lane, following at a safe distance, and using proper posture
Practice these skills for now and you’ll have plenty of time to get the hang of parallel parking later. Good luck!
