Get the forms from the DMV.
Get a car insurance policy on the car. Some car insurance companies offer kit car insurance, so that’s your best bet. If they don’t offer it, shop around or ask what other policy may cover it.
Take your car to the Highway Patrol office in your state for certification and verification.
