Is it better to have your own non owners policy or to be added as a driver to another policy?

I am moving in with my fiancée's family at the end of the month. I no longer have my own car, but her family said they could add me to their policy and drive their cars. I was going to keep a non owners policy for myself. Should I be added to their policy instead?

“Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials!
Since your future in-laws will be furnishing a vehicle for your everyday use, you will not need to have a non owners car insurance policy set up. As long as you are an active driver on their policy, you will be fully covered.
Down the road, if you’ll need your own policy, give the free Jerry app a try. Jerry shops with over 40 carriers to find a cheap policy that is customized for your needs. “
