Is it bad to buy a Chevy truck with 200k miles?

Have fun car shopping! Used cars can be smart purchases, but we’d advise against buying a Chevy truck with 200k miles. That’s a lot of mileage and wear and tear, and the truck might not be worth what you will have to pay in maintenance and upkeep.
Here are some tips for buying a used truck or car:
- Research what the car is worth
- Take a road test
- Take it to a mechanic for an inspection
- Check the VIN to find specific info about the truck
- Use CARFAX to get a history of the truck
- Ask the right questions
