Is Hyundai’s hybrid battery warranty transferable?

I’m talking to a guy online about buying his hybrid Hyundai, and he’s telling me the hybrid battery warranty will transfer to me. Is that right?

Yes, that’s right. While
Hyundai’s
 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain limited warranty is non-transferable, you will be able to take advantage of the balance of the car’s other warranties, including the 10-year/100,000-mile hybrid/electric battery & hybrid system components warranty.
Your hybrid battery warranty will cover your Hyundai’s:
  • Hybrid/Electric Battery
  • Hybrid Starter/Generator
  • Hybrid Power Control Unit
  • Automatic Transmission (including Traction Motor)
