Is driving a manual worth it?

I found a great deal on an old Nissan Z car, and I want to pull the trigger. The only problem is that it’s a stick and I don’t know how to drive it. Is it worth learning how to drive a manual?

Only 13% of vehicles in the U.S. are offered with a manual transmission, so you’re in rare company. And if you’re talking about a
classic car
like the Nissan Z, you’re in even rarer company.
But like anything in life, whether or not it’s worth learning something new is totally subjective. Driving a manual is worth it if you love the added sense of adventure. However, modern automatic vehicles can achieve much of what used to make manual cars appealing—like getting good gas mileage, for example.
Give driving a manual a go and see what you think. You’ll definitely know if driving one is worth it to you after trying it out.
Driving a manual is exhilarating; that’s not up for debate. But one thing that’s always up for debate is what you’re paying for car insurance. Don’t just pay whatever you’re quoted. Instead, check out the
