I’ve noticed that electric cars are more popular than ever right now. This got me to wondering what the main driver behind this popularity is. So is climate change the main driver behind electric cars, or is something else behind it?

is largely driven by concerns related to climate change. People enjoy owning electric cars because they are fun to drive and save money on fuel costs, but even just a few months ago when gas prices were much lower, there wasn’t as much of a demand for electric cars as there is now.
Finding alternatives to gas-powered vehicles is part of a broader movement to reduce global reliance on energy sources that come from fossil fuels. Pivoting to more renewable energy sources in lieu of relying on fossil fuels will not only slow down the threat of climate change but will help to reduce pollution and create a cleaner, more sustainable world for all.
