I hear you! I don’t know what I’d do without my iPhone and Apple
Watch! And that’s a great question. Not only are top automotive brands developing EVs for the future, but high-powered brands from different industries across the globe are stepping up as well. Apple has been working on “Project Titan” with over 1,000 car experts since 2014. In the company’s Cupertino headquarters, the project hit various roadblocks like issues with leadership and internal strife. Fortunately, the project is now back on track.
Here’s what we know about Apple building an electric car:
Apple is developing a self-driving Apple-branded car for consumers.
The company has received an Autonomous testing permit from the DMV and self-driving technology is still being tested.
iOS is expected to be deeply integrated into the vehicle’s software. Inside the Apple Car will be a high-powered Apple-designed chip made from neural processors to handle the AI load.
Apple will secure various partnerships to **build **the high-end vehicle, but specific details have yet to be revealed. Apple has been rumored to have taken a meeting with Hyundai (among other companies), but nothing has been confirmed.
Now that you know you’ll be able to enjoy an Apple Car in the future, make sure you’re satisfied in the now with the coverage for your current vehicle. Did you know most of us are _overpaying _for our monthly car insurance and don’t even know it?
