Is an Alfa Romeo a good first car?

I just got enough hours behind the wheel to be eligible for my driving test. What do I need to do to schedule a driving test in Ohio?

For me, nothing beats the thrill of putting the pedal to the floor and enjoying a quick burst of acceleration. However, I was watching NASCAR the other day, and I noticed chunks of rubber flying everywhere on the track. This made me think about my own driving. Will driving fast wear out my car’s tires more quickly?

Would I get a ticket if I drove at night without turning on my headlights? There have been a couple of times where I’ve been driving in well-lit areas at night and forgot to turn on my headlights, so I’m curious.
