Is amazon building an electric car?
I love my Amazon account, it makes my life so much easier! But I am concerned about the negative impact the delivery vehicles are having on the environment. Does Amazon use electric cars or are they going to build one to use for the future?

electric vehicle revolution
. Here’s what we know about Amazon and electric cars:
- Amazon is committed to achieving net-zero carbon by 2040, in support of The Climate Pledge. It’s also ordered 100,000 EVs by 2030.
- Amazon has partnered with Rivian Automotive, which has developed one-of-a-kind delivery vehicles. Built in Plymouth, Michigan, these autos can drive about 150 miles per charge.
- Thousands of EV charging stations have been installed across North America and Europe to accommodate this new fleet of vehicles.
- Amazon is also exploring alternative fuels, new technologies, and various delivery methods that will sustainably serve the community.
Amazon also recently partnered up with international automaker Stallantis, in a deal to purchase more electric delivery vehicles.
