Is a Toyota new car warranty transferable?

I’ve owned my Toyota for about two years, but I’m thinking about selling it to get a new car, especially since several models are going to enter their new generation soon. Can I transfer a Toyota new car warranty to a second owner?

The
Toyota
new car warranty is 100% transferable, which can give you an additional selling point on your car. The only caveat is that your Toyota must still be under the original warranty to transfer it. Since you’ve only owned your car for two years, you should still be under warranty when you go to sell the vehicle.
To transfer the warranty, however, you may want to contact the dealership where you purchased the car and tell them of your intentions. In some cases, the warranty automatically transfers, but in other cases, the new owner may have to wait 30 days to process the warranty transfer.
