Is a Chrysler 200 a good first car?

My friends think it’s weird, but I really want my first car to be an old Chrysler 200. I love the vintage appeal! Are these good first cars?

Hey, buy what you love! On the whole, the Chrysler 200 is a good first car. It has above-average reliability ratings, good crash test ratings, and easy-to-use infotainment features.
Here’s more on the Chrysler 200:
  • The Chrysler 200 is a midsize sedan produced by Chrysler from 2011 to 2017. It was also offered as a two-door convertible.
  • RepairPal rates the Chrysler 200 4.0 out of 5.0, ranking it 12th out of 24 midsize cars. Its average annual repair cost is $549, which is lower than the average for cars in its class.
  • The Chrysler 200’s 8.4-inch Uconnect interface is intuitive with a simple menu structure and large virtual icons. Anyone should be able to figure it out!
  • The Chrysler 200 has great crash test scores—The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) awarded it five stars in every crash test.
A 2017 Chrysler 200 typically retails for around $14,000 to $21,000. Before you buy, don’t forget to estimate your Chrysler insurance costs!
