Is $400 a month too much to pay to insure a Chevy Impala in New York City?

My car insurance seems expensive, especially considering I've had no accidents. I'm 24 and I know rates will go down after I turn 25, but is this still too much to be paying?

Car insurance is based on a variety of factors, but being under 25 and insuring a car in NYC are probably contributing to your higher-than-average rates.
