In a GMC Acadia, how many cylinders are there?

I am shopping for a new car for my family. We’re relocating to a more suburban area, and I expect we’ll have to schlep some stuff for the kids. Plus, we have a small motorboat and we need to be able to tow it. In a GMC Acadia, how many cylinders are there?

The
GMC Acadia
has either a four-cylinder or six-cylinder engine.
The base engine in a GMC Acadia is a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder that produces 228 horsepower. If you need more oomph, upgrade to the 3.6L V6 with 310 horsepower (available on every trim level). This upgrade will cost you at least $2,000, although having all-wheel drive is well worth the upgrade.
Bear in mind that there is a noticeable decrease in fuel economy with the V6 GMC Acadia. Whereas the four-cylinder gets 22 city mpg, the V6 Acadia gets 19 city mpg. Plus, GMCs can be
expensive to maintain
compared to other models.
But this midsize SUV could be a good choice if you want a roomy cabin, an easy-to-use infotainment system, and an impressive towing capacity. Make sure to ask about the optional Trailering Package, if you’re buying new, or looking for an older model with the proper capacity for your boat.
