If I was injured in an accident in which the other driver was at fault, do medical bills come out of my settlement?

If I have medical bills, will they come out of that settlement? I filed a claim with my insurance company and they are going to pursue it with the other driver's insurance company.

“Generally, once a
car insurance company
pays out a claim, it’s up to you what to do with that money.
They may include medical bills in the settlement cost, but they will not bill your health provider directly or cover any costs that come up after the claim has been settled.
Doctors may work with you to ensure that your bills are a reasonable amount that can be covered by the settlement.
Pursuing additional
medical payments coverage (MedPay)
may be a good option for further financial support.”
