If I just bought a pre-damaged Prius, will insurance still cover it?
"I bought this car because it was cheaper, not thinking about the insurance implications. Will I still be able to get a policy?"
“Yes, most policies and car insurance companies will cover pre-damaged vehicles, though their coverage will be different if the vehicle has a salvage title.
Keep in mind that the insurers will note the existing damage when you purchase a policy, and it will not be covered for related repairs.”

Now that I am free and clear of that monthly bill, I have to start making my homeowners insurance payments directly to the insurance company. I never realized how much it was before!
