"If I get a business insurance policy to cover the small business I run out of my house, will I have to pay more for homeowners insurance? "

My home policy doesn't cover my business, so I need to get a separate policy for that. But I'm wondering if I'll be charged more for home insurance as a result.

“There are many factors that can affect the cost of homeowners insurance, and different companies may have different criteria as well. If you were to run a dog-grooming business out of your home, some companies may perceive this as an increased risk as opposed to a tax-preparation business, for example.
It would be best to discuss the specifics of your situation with your insurance agent. Remember that your agent works for you, and they want to find you the right coverage to best protect your interests.
