How will Progressive check my driving record?
I'm in the process of switching over from my former insurance company to Progressive and I'm wondering how they will have access to my driving record. There are some traffic violations on there. Will they find out?

“Car insurance companies can access information about drivers through a shared database called CLUE(Comprehensive Loss Database Exchange). When you switch companies, your new company, in your case Progressive, will generate a CLUE report that includes personal information as well as your claims and driving history. They will use this information to calculate your new rate.
If you’re curious what’s on your CLUE report, you can check it once a year on LexisNexis for free. “
