How to prevent moisture in an electric car during the rain?

I just got a new EV and so far it hasn’t rained since I’ve had it. I’m a bit scared of using it and charging it in the rain though. I don’t want to get electrocuted! How do I prevent moisture from getting into the car while it rains?

Great question, we understand your concern! Not to worry, however, electric vehicles are made and tested to drive and charge in both the rain and snow.
Electric vehicles and traditional cars are designed to function in all weather conditions, except flooding. If the roads are completely flooded, avoid driving as the electricity from internal parts could run through the water and injure the driver and passengers.
When charging at the station, feel free to charge, as usual, EVs are designed to block out water from internal electric components to keep you and your vehicle safe. Happy driving!
