I can’t find a gas tank lever in my Ford Fusion, so how do I get the gas tank open?

Ford Fusions
actually don’t have an interior gas tank lever, which explains your trouble! To open the gas tank, you’ll have to do it from the outside, in one of two ways. Here’s how:
  • Push the fuel door. For some Fusions, the fuel door is like a button—you’ll have to push and release the door to get it to pop open, after which you can access the fuel tank.
  • Pull the fuel door. For other models, you can simply pull the fuel door right open with your fingers. There may even be a little divet or indent to make this easier!
And that’s it! You’re ready to fuel up.
