How to open a BMW trunk from the inside?

I regularly have to pick my brother up from football practice. I hate having to get out to open the trunk for him and all his stinky gear. Is it possible to open my trunk from the inside?

The joys of football! Luckily for you, BMW has a simple solution so you can stay as far from that gear as possible.
When you’re sitting in the driver’s seat, look over to your door. Over by the storage pocket, you’ll find a button with a diagram of a car with the trunk open. This is the button that will open and close the trunk.
To open the trunk, all you have to do is push down on this button. And, when it’s time to close it, pull up and hold the button until it latches. You can also have your brother manually close it for you!
