How to get car insurance for one day?

I'm borrowing my aunt's car for a day. She has insurance, but she also says I should have my own insurance policy. I don't have a car. How can I get car insurance for one day?

Since you don’t own a car,
car insurance for one day
is not possible.
While some companies may advertise temporary insurance, reputable companies only offer policies for six or 12 months.
In most cases, your aunt’s insurance would cover you as you are using her car with permission. Most
car insurance
policies extend coverage for permissive use.
That said, if your aunt wants you to have your own coverage, you have other options. First, you could see if your aunt would add you to her insurance as a listed driver. When you’re a listed driver, the vehicle’s insurance covers you.
If that’s not an option, you could opt for a
non-owner policy
. Non-owner insurance is designed for those who don’t own a car but frequently rent or borrow.
