I'm going to be added to my dad's insurance policy at the end of the month, and I need to compare my current coverage to his policy. What's the best way to find my insurance policy details?

If you want to easily identify your
car insurance
policy information, you should begin by viewing your policy declaration page that was sent to you when you chose your policy. You can generally find this information on your provider’s insurance portal as well. The details of your policy will be found on the first page(s) of your insurance policy paperwork, which will contain all the necessary information needed to update your insurance.
Your policy declaration page usually contains:
- Name of the insurance company
- Policyholder’s name and address
- Effective renewal dates of coverage
- LIsted drivers
- Policy number
- Vehicle make, model, and vehicle identification number
Relevant coverage and payment information will also be listed as:
- Coverages and coverage limits
- Deductibles
- Premiums for each coverage type
When adding yourself to your father’s policy, make sure to increase the
liability
