How to check if my car has a warranty?

I've been reading about how to maintain my car, and I'm a little worried about my engine. Some websites say that my model of car breaks down a lot, and that it could cost a lot to fix, but that it might not be as expensive if I have a warranty. How can I figure out if my car has a warranty?

Great question! The best way to check on
your car’s warranty
is to contact your local dealership.
They’ll be able to tell you what, if anything, is covered under warranty once you provide your vehicle identification number (VIN). Warranties vary a lot from manufacturer to manufacturer, so it’s important to check for your car specifically to see if you have a warranty.
If you find that you don’t have a warranty and you’re worried about your car, another option might be mechanical breakdown insurance. To learn more and shop for mechanical breakdown insurance, check out the

app. We’ll get you personalized quotes from top insurers in seconds, so that all you need to do is pick the plan that works best for you. And once you choose one, we’ll even help you switch!
Best of luck with the search for a warranty!
