How tall is the average car?
My last car was a Porsche Boxter, but now that I have a kid on the way, I’m thinking about getting an SUV. When I was shopping, I noticed that SUVs seemed super tall to me. That got me wondering what height most cars are. What’s the average height of a car?

The average car is about five feet to six feet high (60 to 72 inches), with trucks and SUVs at the higher end of the spectrum.That said, most garage doors measure seven feet high, so even if you have a taller car, you shouldn’t have any issues parking it in the garage. Just make sure that you always look for height signs when you’re driving under bridges or in a fast-food drive-thru.
