How should I clean up broken car window glass?

My son and his friends were playing street hockey in the driveway and one of them managed to shoot the puck right through my rear window. His parents offered to have the window replaced this week, but I’m at a loss for how to properly get rid of all the glass. How should I clean up broken car window glass?

When one of your car windows breaks, it’s important to clean up the glass right away to avoid injuring anyone or damaging anything else. The best way to clean up broken car window glass is with a vacuum cleaner. My recommendation is to use a public vacuum located at a car wash or gas station.
When you vacuum up the glass, make sure to move carefully across the area in even strokes. If you try to do it quickly, you may miss small bits, spread the glass around, or clog the vacuum cleaner.
However, because your window will be replaced within the week, you don’t have to worry too much about vacuuming the glass perfectly. The area will be fully vacuumed during the repair process, as well.
While you wait for your glass to be replaced, it might be the perfect time to review your car insurance. If you feel that you might be paying too much, check out the
