How reliable is a Subaru Legacy?

Are Subaru Legacies good cars? I love the Subaru brand, but I don’t know much about the Legacy. I found an ad online for a used one that looks great, but I want to make sure it’s as reliable as I expect it to be.

The latest Subaru Legacy model has an average reliability score, which is pretty good compared to the other midsize sedans on the market right now. However, some older Legacies have an even better reliability rating, particularly the 2014 and 2015 models.
Legacies are also known to last for 200,000 to 300,000 miles. The annual cost of repairs and maintenance for the Subaru Legacy is slightly above average when compared to other vehicles of a similar make, though, so you’ll need to be prepared to spend some money on your car to make it last longer.
