How reliable is a Saab?

I found a used 2006 Saab that’s pretty affordable and even though it’s kind of an old car, I’m thinking about buying it. Would that be a good choice? Are Saabs reliable?

The
Saab
vehicle production company went bankrupt and stopped producing cars in 2014, so although they are reliable cars, it can be difficult to find replacement parts in the event that your Saab does have problems.
Their average annual maintenance cost is comparable to other vehicles on the market, but actually having your vehicle repaired can be a challenge.
It’s also worth mentioning that if you want a reliable car, you should opt for a newer model. While Saabs do have decent reliability ratings, older vehicles are significantly more likely to run into mechanical issues than newer ones, regardless of their original reliability ratings.
