How reliable is a Hyundai Veloster?

My dad wants me to get an impact car for my first car, but he’s letting me choose the one I want. Is the Hyundai Veloster a good choice? I like the way it looks and it’s comfortable, but I’m not sure how reliable it is.

 ranks just below mid-tier for reliability, making it one of the less reliable compact cars on the market right now.
