How reliable is a Fiat?
Is Fiat a reliable car brand? I’ve never owned one before but I want to make sure it’s a good car before I buy one.

In general,
Fiat
has a mediocre rating in terms of reliability. The brand is in the bottom 50% of car brands for reliability, mostly because they tend to be significantly more expensive to repair than some other brands. Customers have also complained about glitchy technology in some Fiat models, which has contributed to their lower reliability rating.
With that being said, however, different models may be more or less reliable than the Fiat brand overall. The make, model, and year all have a big impact on the reliability of a car, so choosing a Fiat to research will help you understand the kind of reliability you can expect a little more clearly.
