How reliable is a Chevy Colorado?

Will the Chevy Colorado require a lot of repairs? I can definitely afford to buy one if I take out a loan, but I won’t be able to afford it if I have to take it in for repairs all the time. I’ll be using it for work so it’ll get a lot of miles on it pretty fast.

There is some contention as to the reliability of the
Chevy Colorado
. This is in part because newer model years are significantly more reliable than older ones, so you’ll need to opt for a new Colorado if you want a good reliability rating for your truck.
If you’re planning to use your truck for work, the Colorado is a great choice. It’s pretty big as far as midsize pickups go, and it’s known for being rugged and tough with a deep bed for hauling. While Consumer Report recommends the
Honda Ridgeline
over the Chevy Colorado, the Ridgeline doesn’t offer the same features and therefore might not work as well in a job environment.
