How often should you get your car inspected?

I know my state requires it to be done every 12 months but how often should I be getting my car inspected?

It is recommended you have your car inspected every three to six months on a routine basis. Regardless of your state’s requirements, having an inspection done every three to six months is a great way to ensure there are no underlying issues and can help avoid expensive repairs in the future.
An easy way to remember to get your car inspected is to have it done every time you get your oil changed. You should also have it inspected and speak with your mechanic if anything on your vehicle doesn’t seem to be operating normally.
Adding an inspection to your routine car maintenance schedule is a great way to prolong the life of your vehicle. Another routine practice that should be done, but is often overlooked, is to review your
car insurance
policy and compare rates regularly.
You can make this process simple by downloading the
Jerry
app. Before every policy renewal period, you’ll be presented with new competitive quotes, which means you’ll always have the best coverage at the best price. And you can even keep track of your maintenance records in the app!
