I’m a new Toyota Rav4 owner. I haven’t owned a car before and I’m trying to figure out a maintenance plan. How often do you need to replace brake pads on a Rav4?

maintenance schedule
is for your Toyota, check the owner’s manual. Most manuals will list the timeframe and recommended maintenance based on your car’s mileage. That said, if you notice any issues with braking or find it difficult to stop, always visit a mechanic! Several different factors, including how hard or frequently you brake, can impact the lifespan of your brake pads. While these are averages, it’s always better to be safe!
