How often should I change the spark plugs in a Honda Civic?

I’ve had the same car for a long time. My dad asked me this weekend if I’d ever had the spark plugs changed. I don’t know what spark plugs are or that they need to be changed. So, how often should the spark plugs on my Honda Civic be changed?

The spark plugs in any car deliver the electric current to your ignition to start the car. If they weren’t functioning properly, your car wouldn’t start. Luckily, they require very little
maintenance
in comparison to most other car parts.
Honda recommends that drivers have their spark plugs changed every seven years or 105,000 miles. If you’re ever unsure, you can find this information in the owner’s manual for your Honda Civic.
Since you’re taking the time to learn more about your car’s maintenance, now might be a great time to take a look at your
car insurance
as well.
