How much will auto insurance cost for me in New Jersey?

I am thinking about moving to New Jersey, but I hear the cost of auto insurance is too expensive. Is that true?

“Since where you live will strongly impact the cost of your auto policy, it is a great idea to get
car insurance quotes online
before you move!
Every zip code will be different. For example, the cost to insure a car in Mount Holly, NJ vs. Newark, NJ will vary significantly. Another thing to consider is that New Jersey has a mandatory coverage called personal injury protection; if your current state doesn’t require this coverage, it would be an added expense.
The best course of action is to let your agent know that you are moving and you need quotes in a few different areas. As you are looking for a place to live, gather a couple of potential addresses and try them in your quotes. Also, keep in mind that you can save money by
bundling auto and home policies
together. “
