I was recently searching for a Smart car, and thought it was pretty crazy that they start new at only $12,000. But I’m not really looking for the gas-powered version. How much is a Smart car electric? I can’t seem to find any pricing online, and I’m curious.

condition of the vehicle

- A range of 58 miles on a single charge
- A tiny electric engine putting out 80 horsepower and 118 lb-ft of torque
- Room for two passengers
- A standard backup camera
- An optional convertible soft-top
The 58 mile range was estimated by German manufacturer, Smart, but some owners say that they’ve been able to squeeze 75 miles out of it. If your heart is set on this supercompact EV, consider it as a carbon-friendly grocery runner, but not much else.
