I want to change the oil myself in my Ford F-150 to save money. How much oil do I need to complete the job?

Changing the oil yourself F-150 is a great way to save cash and do some
basic car maintenance
that your vehicle needs anyway.
When you head to the auto parts store, you can simply ask them how much oil you need based on your F-150 model year and engine size. If you want to order the oil online, you’ll need to do your own research.
If you have an EcoBoost engine—which is generally a 2.7-liter or 3.5-liter engine—you will need at least 6.6 quarts of oil. However, if you have a V-8, you generally need at least 8 quarts of oil. Consult your owner’s manual if you have an older model, as these amounts may change if you have an F-150 that’s more than 20 years old.
If you’re looking for ways to save money, don’t stop at doing your own maintenance. Get out the car insurance policy, see how much you’re paying, and compare it to the quotes you get with the
