How much does the New Jersey Turnpike toll cost?

I’m visiting family in New Jersey this weekend and will have to drive the full length of the turnpike, but I want to make sure I have enough cash on me for the toll. How much does the New Jersey Turnpike toll cost?

Seeing as you’re planning to pay by cash and are
traveling
the entire length of the turnpike, you can expect to pay approximately $19.45 for the
New Jersey
Turnpike toll.
If you had a New Jersey E-ZPass, you’d pay between $14.57 - $19.43, depending on whether you were there during off-peak or peak hours.
Toll costs do, however, change depending on the type of vehicle you’re driving, as shown in the table below (applicable for 2022):
Vehicle Class
Cash/AET
E-ZPass (off-peak - peak hours)
Class 1: 2-axle cars, trucks, & motorcycles
$19.45
$14.57 - $19.43
Class 2: Dual-tire 2-axle trucks/box trucks
$39.90
$34.61 - $36.42
Class 3: 3-axle vehicles, incl. trailer axles
$49.85
$43.21 - $45.58
Class 4: 4-axle vehicles, incl. trailer axles
$59.90
$51.91 - $54.65
Class 5: 5-axle vehicles, incl. trailer axles
$69.70
$60.51 - $63.66
Class 6: 6-axles or more, incl. trailer axles
$79.65
$69.11 - $72.78
Class B2: Buses with 2 axles
$23.95
$20.75 - $21.85
Class B3: Buses with 3 axles
$29.90
$25.90 - $27.31
