How much does it cost to send a car to Puerto Rico?

How much would I have to pay to send my car to Puerto Rico? I’m traveling there for about six months and I would love to have my own car with me if possible. I’m also wondering if it would be cheaper to just ship my car there than to rent a car and store my car for the whole six months I’m gone.

What an exciting trip! Usually, it will cost between $1,200 and $3,300 to
ship a car
to Puerto Rico. Keep in mind that this is the cost for a one-way trip, so you’d be paying $2,400 to $6,600 total to bring your car there and back.
Overall, this could be cheaper than storing your car and renting a new one. Storing your car can cost anywhere from $45 to $450 per month, and leasing a car in Puerto Rico costs, on average, $418 per month.
If you do decide to store your car, though, you’ll want to purchase car storage insurance. The
