While several factors can affect the cost to replace windshield wipers, the average cost is around $50 if you go to a professional mechanic. Labor may run you about $25 while parts will average around $25.
There are two good alternatives to going to a mechanic to replace windshield wipers:
- Learning to replace windshield wipers yourself.
- Getting them installed for free at a local auto supply store, provided you buy the wipers there
Your first step will be to identify the size wipers you need for your Subaru. When searching for wiper sizes, you need to know a car’s specific make, model, and year. Thankfully, all you need to do is type this information into a searchable database—either online or while in the store.
