How much does it cost to replace fuel injectors?

My uncle and his partner want to sell me their used car for cheap, but there’s a problem: they say it needs new fuel injectors. That’s why they’re asking for a smaller amount. I don’t know what that means or how much they cost to buy. So how much does it cost to replace fuel injectors?

Replacing fuel injectors can get expensive, depending on what type of car they’re going into and what engine that car has. Fuel injector replacement will usually cost somewhere between $300 and $2000, though most drivers will end up on the lower end of that spectrum. New fuel injectors for a

The cost to replace fuel injectors will vary based on how many cylinders the engine has, and how much performance the engine is built for. A small inline four-cylinder engine, like you’d find in most modern cars, will need fewer fuel injectors than a behemoth V12 engine you’d find in something like a

Rates can vary geographically due to supply and demand issues, so be sure to call several mechanics locally and ask them to quote you on the cost of replacing the fuel injectors. Don’t just go with the first mechanic you speak with!
