How much does it cost to redo car seats?

I bought my car a few years ago, and I love it, but I don’t love the cloth seats. I’ve lived with them until now, and they just collect too much dirt. How much would it cost to have all of the seats reupholstered?

The average cost to reupholster car seats is about $250 to $750 per seat.
Reupholstering your seats can have a big impact on your vehicle's appearance, but it comes with a big price tag. On average, a standard five-seat car with two bucket seats in the front and a bench seat in the back will cost around $500 to $2,000 to get redone.
However, the total cost to redo the interior of your car depends on the material, repair shop, and labor costs. Reupholstering seats is a big job, so if you want to cover some
stains
or small rips, you may want to consider slipcovers.
Remember, reupholstering is more than just replacing the fabric on top. If you pay to get your seats redone, the repair shop will likely:
  • Add seat padding where needed
  • Repair or replace any broken springs/coils
  • Reupholster the seats with your chosen fabric
The size of the job also means that you’ll be paying for labor costs and materials. So even though it may seem expensive, your money will be used well.
If you think they’re
taking a little too long with your car
, you can ask them to walk you through the process! As a customer, you’re entitled to full transparency.
