The cost of putting racing stripes on your car depends on a number of factors, but the biggest one is whether you want to use vinyl or paint.
Since you’re strapped for cash, you’ll probably want to use vinyl for your racing stripes. This option can cost as little as $25-$150 and you can easily apply them at home with a little bit of patience.
If you choose to go painted racing stripes, you could end up paying as much as $600-$2,000 to have them done by a professional. Keep in mind that painted stripes are more expensive for a reason—the quality is higher, and they will last much longer than your self-applied vinyl stripes.
